Book Review: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

Rating: 4/5

One sentence: Suffering is created by not living in the present moment.

This book was interesting and illuminated the reason for a lot of suffering. One thing that struck me particularly is that he says that only when we completely surrender to what is can we find joy. It made me think of the movie Kung Fu Panda where the kung fu master says that he found inner peace through incredible pain when Po (the panda) was chosen.

Is it truly so that when we completely accept what is and live in the present moment that we have no suffering? I am still exploring this in my own life.

To happiness, and beyond!

  1. I do accept as true with all of the ideas you’ve offered on your post.

They’re very convincing and can certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for novices.

Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thank you for the
    post.
