One sentence: This book contains all you need to make a success of your life.
If you apply everything in this book, I don’t see how you can fail. Most people will not apply it, and some ideas are hard to apply. How do you know what to start with? How do you change your habits? What do you do when you feel like giving up? There are still a few answers needed.
Something else that I didn’t like so much was the Dilbert cartoons. Not only did they not contribute any knowledge or understanding, but they actively distracted me from the book’s message. The personal examples and success stories I didn’t find very useful. Often the stories just end by saying that the person was successful, not including the specific actions that person took.
This book contains a lot of good advice and systems, but trying to do them all at once will fail. I think instead of trying to hit 3 goals every week, it might be more achievable to try and hit only one. Then you would truly be focussing. But hey, they are the experts, and they have the results. I’m just a guy with a blog. 🙂
